Aethelstan: The Father of England
Aethelstan: The Father Of England is a documentary pilot to a series of Anglo-Saxon monarchs who helped shape and rule England.
The documentary released as part of my BA Honours project which saw myself take part in all fields of production, like operating camera and audio equipment, drafting and finalizing scripts and research, graphics and illustration, and stringing the edit together.
Behind The Scenes
The production enhanced my abilities to not only familiarize myself with the cameras, but encouraged the necessary skills required as the director of a major project, such as organization and budgeting. The project also inspired my passion for medieval history through visiting and filming on location at historical towns and cities, like York, Malmesbury, and The Wirral.
